I love libraries. Sometimes you just want to browse the novels and bring home something you’ve never heard of without paying a cent. Our Newfoundland and Labrador Libraries offer a dory load of books from local authors, both old and new. You can also borrow audiobooks.
Public libraries are also an easy place to start when researching local history and genealogy.
They also offer a free library book club kit.
All of my novels are available at Newfoundland and Labrador Libraries. The full list is below.
How it works:
The kit is checked out to a single group member, who is responsible for all materials.
The loan period is 6 weeks (with one 6-week renewal if no other groups are waiting).
The group member checking out the kit is responsible for returning the kit in its entirety and any replacement costs for missing items, if applicable.
Kits are available to patrons anywhere in the province - ask your local library staff about bringing in a book club kit via Interlibrary Loan.
What’s included:
Nl Libraries offer free Book Club Kits.
They are free to borrow and include everything you need to start your own book discussion group.
Just add readers!
Each kit is packed in a canvas library bag and contains:
10 copies of one book
Discussion questions
Information about the author – I have often attended book clubs, both in person and virtually.
Library courses I offer:
Your local library offers lots of fun courses. You can contact them if you are interested in any of the courses I teach. I can offer these courses in person or virtually:
The Art of Murder -how to write a murder mystery
The structure of romance – how to write romance – and not the traditional kind
Telling your story – how to write a biography course for seniors
They are all free and are offered through your library.

Contact your local library for more information.
